The Beginning Place is more than a shelter, it is a transitional home. We believe that any building can be a shelter, but it takes love for it to be a home. The Beginning Place will be the first step for destitute individuals to rebuild their lives while maintaining dignity. Not only will their basic needs be met, our team will assist them with gaining self sufficiency and confidence upon reentering society as trustworthy, working, and productive members.

Here at The Beginning Place, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2014, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our nonprofit organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress.
